Overdrive Implements Fleet Management System for Dialog
Malaysia- Overdrive implements a full-fledged fleet management system for Dialog Group Berhad, Malaysia.
The project was awarded last December 2019 where Overdrive developed a fully integrated vehicle tracking system enabling the tracking of up to 237 vehicles travelling around Malaysia and a few of forklifts operating inside Dialog’s main warehouse. Overdrive did more by adding an employee transportation system into the current platform, digitilising vehicle booking with the use of mobile apps for more than 2,000 users.
Months in the Making
With 2020 being a difficult time for all due to the Covid situation, completing the project became quite the challenge. However, Overdrive weathered the storm as the tests and trials proved to be triumphant.
Valuable data were generated from Overdrive’s robust technology, enabling Dialog to get real-time visibility to streamline transport-related processes and overall operation.

The system ensured the Dialog’s vehicles were at optimum, continuously sought ways to improve vehicle performance as operation and maintenance costs were kept at a minimum. The fleet management system was successfully implemented within the first half of the year—achieving an increase in users as Dialog continuously adopted the platform.
The project is expected to run until 2022.
